I had a lot of fun painting this little fella: painting the complete form in clear water as quickly as I could and then repeatedly loading my brush with ink, allowing the pigment to react spontaneously and freely with the wet surface. The final step, done as the paper still had some dampness to it, was to squirt water onto the frog's feet, creating loose elongated shapes.
